‘Funfair’ to compete at Sedicicorto filmfest

Iranian film ‘Funfair’ is slated to vie at Sedicicorto Film Festival in Italy.

The short film directed by Kaveh Mazaheri will be screened at the 2020 edition of the Italian event.

'Funfair' has so far competed and grabbed awards at many international festivals.

The 15-minute flick narrates the story of a young married couple and their 5-year-old kid; while they are suffering some financial problems.

Majid, a financially struggling man, comes up with a ploy in order to better the life of his wife, Sara.

But, will he be able to improve the situation? Will Sara have the patience needed?

Sonia Sanjari, Soroush Saeedi and Artin Rabiee are the cast members of the flick.

‘Funfair’ has been screened at various global events and succeeded to take home a number of awards.

Launched in 2004, the Sedicicorto is held every year in October in the Italian comune of Forlì.

The event aims at offering visibility to young authors and presenting an opportunity of meeting and exchanging among film industry professionals.

The 17th edition of the event is slated for October 2-11, 2020.
